“Silence offers us, and those around us, the spaciousness we need to speak more skillfully. When we speak with greater skill, our true self––our compassionate, loving self––emerges with gentle ease. So before you speak, stop, breathe, and consider if what you are about to say will improve upon the silence.”  -Allan Lokos

*Licensed Acupuncturist Awny Rael is currently accepting some medical insurance plans for acupuncture services. Please contact Awny by email at awny@onpoint-sf.com before scheduling your appointment to verify your insurance benefits.

Ask your employer or health care provider if they have options to help you pay for treatments with us.
We do not currently process insurance billing. We are always able to provide you with an invoice if you pursue reimbursement of any kind. Please speak with your Healing Arts Practitioner. Erik experimented with processing Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury cases through a medical billing agency but unfortunately our western system of medicine does not yet financially support therapeutic massage practitioners. We are hopeful for the future!

Health Savings Account (HSA)/Flexible Savings Account (FSA)
HSA and FSA accounts may be offered by your employer as a way for you to save money, tax free, for health and wellness services. If you have an account, simply visit with your primary care physician and them know that you would like a prescription for therapeutic massage & bodywork, acupuncture or nutritional therapy for treatment or prevention of a condition. Conditions include and are not limited to carpal tunnel syndrome, stress, back pain, arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression and pain management.  You don’t need to bring the prescription to your appointment but be sure to keep it as a record. Payment is due at the time of your treatment and your practitioner will provide you with an emailed invoice to submit for reimbursement.

NOT ALL FSA/HSA DEBIT CARDS WORK WITH ALL CREDIT CARD PROCESSING DEVICES for reasons we cannot control. If you plan to use your FSA/HSA card with us, be sure to have another form of payment ready. Confirm in advance with your provider that you can submit an invoice from us in the event that your FSA/HSA card cannot be processed. Payment is due at the end of your session.
